The Hiking & Abseiling trip of the “Pic Saint Loup” is certainly the most fantastic countryside course close to Montpellier.
This journey takes you to the heart of a landscape dotted with picturesque villages scattered on either side of the Gorges (canyons) of the “Hérault” river. Plunge yourself in an understated wilderness through these mystical mountains.
The course presents itself in a first part as a hiking trip through the north face of the peak. Do not be afraid, it is a trail which goes around the face of the cliff, and requires no cords.
After a meal at the top, with a 360 ° panoramic view - from the Pyrenees to the sea and Ventou to the Aigoual - the spirit of adventure of the journey takes all dimensions as the downhill consists of 5 abseils, all progressive in height.
You will learn how to abseil, and enjoy the magnificent panorama, while ensuring your descent of 10 to 50 metres, dangling like a spider in its web.
This is a course reserved for the sporty types, wanting to enjoy a day full of ecstasy.
